Solutions [Step 3]
Solutions need to be able to solve the underlying problem you have selected. It requires knowledge and teamwork. A solution needs to be futuristic and elaborated.
This is how you write a solution:
1. Say who will do what.
2. Say how and why will this solve the ....
3. key verb phrase and purpose. ( See Underlying Problem)

BASF, one of the largest producers of plastic in the world, will sponsor a competition for university students to create a beach cleaning robot that detects and removes nurdles. The designers will need to incorporate plans in their design for the disposal of all the nurdles that are collected, so that these could be reused by the manufacturers of plastic goods. This would solve the UP because if the design was successful it could be the start of cleaning up the beaches and preventing further plastic waste from entering the ocean as 80% of plastic waste in the sea comes the land.
